MedTech Compass Acceptable Use Policy

1. Purpose

This Acceptable Use Policy describes what you may and may not do with MedTech Compass. It forms part of our Subscription Terms of Service and applies to every user on your account.

2. Permitted use

You may use the Service for internal business and professional purposes: evaluating medical-device regulatory pathways, market attractiveness, reimbursement routes, and competitive position, and sharing resulting reports inside your organization or with your professional advisors.

3. Prohibited activities

Reselling, sublicensing, renting, or making the Service or its outputs available as a competing or substantially similar product or data service.

Scraping, crawling, bulk-extracting, or systematically downloading data, scores, evidence, or source registries by automated means outside the export features provided to your plan.

Reverse-engineering, decompiling, or attempting to derive the underlying models, rubrics, weightings, prompts, or source code.

Sharing credentials, exceeding your seat count, or circumventing access controls, tier gates, approval workflows, or usage limits.

Probing, scanning, load-testing, or attempting to penetrate the Service or its infrastructure without our prior written permission.

Uploading malware, unlawful content, or information you are not authorized to share, including third-party confidential information.

Submitting protected health information, patient-identifiable information, sensitive personal information, or controlled technical data unless CAHIR has agreed in writing to support it.

Using outputs for diagnosis, treatment, patient management, emergency use, or any clinical decision-making, or presenting outputs as regulatory clearance, legal advice, or a guarantee of reimbursement.

Removing or obscuring attribution, citations, confidence indicators, version stamps, or disclaimers from exported reports.

4. Fair use

Your use is subject to the seat, analysis, export, storage, and reasonable fair-use limits associated with your plan. We may contact you about unusually high or abnormal usage and may require an upgrade, apply reasonable technical limits, or suspend abusive use.

5. Enforcement

Except in cases of fraud, security risk, legal requirement, or clear abuse, we will notify you and give a reasonable opportunity to correct a violation before restricting or suspending access. Repeated or serious violations may result in termination without refund.
